2. No Verification of Listings

Dalilo does not screen, verify, investigate, or guarantee the accuracy, legitimacy, safety, or legality of any business listing on this site. We do not conduct background checks on any business or individual. Any information provided in a listing is submitted by the business owner and is their sole responsibility.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Dalilo has no control over the conduct of any listed business
  • Dalilo is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of any business, product, or service listed
  • Any interaction or transaction between you and a listed business is entirely at your own risk
  • Dalilo is not a party to any agreement between you and any listed business

3. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dalilo, its owner, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages including but not limited to:

  • Financial loss or fraud resulting from contact with a listed business
  • Personal injury or property damage caused by a listed business
  • Loss of data, privacy breaches, or identity theft caused by a listed business
  • Any harm resulting from reliance on information found on this site
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or any personal information stored therein

This limitation applies whether the claim is based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if Dalilo has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

4. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dalilo and its owner from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • Your use of the site

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
  • Any fraudulent or harmful content you submit

5. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Dalilo is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

By submitting a listing, you represent and warrant that:

  • All information submitted is accurate and truthful
  • You have the legal right to represent the business
  • Your listing does not violate any applicable law
  • Your listing does not infringe on any third party’s rights

Dalilo reserves the right to approve, reject, modify, or remove any listing at any time and for any reason without notice or liability.

7. Fraudulent or Harmful Listings

If you discover a listing that appears fraudulent, harmful, or misleading, please report it immediately using the Report button on the listing page or by contacting us through our Contact Us page. Dalilo will investigate and take appropriate action, but we make no guarantee regarding the timing or outcome of any investigation.

8. Payments

Paid listing plans (Featured, Sponsor) are processed through third-party payment processors (Stripe, PayPal). By making a payment you agree to their respective terms of service. Dalilo is not responsible for any payment processing errors or disputes handled by these processors.

All sales are final unless otherwise required by applicable law. Dalilo reserves the right to modify pricing at any time.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

This site is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Dalilo does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. Third-Party Links

Listings on Dalilo may contain links to third-party websites. Dalilo has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Bexar County, Texas.

12. Changes to Terms

Dalilo reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Listing Data & Intellectual Property

Dalilo’s directory contains two types of listings:

a) Owner-Submitted Listings Listings submitted directly by business owners or their authorized representatives. By submitting a listing, the submitter grants Dalilo a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and publish the submitted information on dalilo.org.

b) Publicly Available Information Some listings on Dalilo contain information sourced from publicly available sources such as Google Maps, business websites, public records, and other publicly accessible directories. This information is factual in nature — including business names, addresses, phone numbers, and website URLs — and is not subject to copyright protection as factual data is not copyrightable under US law (Feist Publications, Inc. v. Rural Telephone Service Co., 499 U.S. 340, 1991).

No Proprietary Database Claims Dalilo’s listings do not reproduce any proprietary database or compilation in its entirety. Individual factual business details (name, address, phone number) are not protected by copyright. Anyone claiming ownership over basic factual business information does not have a valid legal claim against Dalilo.

Dalilo’s Own Intellectual Property The Dalilo name, logo, website design, and original content are the intellectual property of Dalilo and may not be reproduced without written permission.

DMCA Notice If you believe any content on Dalilo infringes your copyright, please contact us through our Contact Us page with details of the alleged infringement and we will respond promptly.
